Understand, configure, implement, and deploy systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment
Monitor systems, validate the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.
Install, patch installations, upgrade, and maintain system hardware and software
Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery,
and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.
Responsible for configuration and maintenance of computer systems within the environment, ensuring high availability of systems and services
Responsible for hardware upgrades, performance tuning, and resource
optimization
Design and build technical solutions for cloud-agnostic, cloud-enabled infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns
Back up, retrieve, maintain, and migrate programs and data
Create, maintain and update documentation
Responsible for change management requests
Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues.
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to support business needs.
Design and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
Top Secret Clearance with SCI
IAT Level II certification
Proven experience as a Red Hat Engineer
Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE) are a plus.
